Lanseria

Lanseria is an important private airport situated 40km north west of the Johannesburg city centre. Its catchment areas covers the key administrative and business centres of Pretoria, Midrand, Sandton and the Northern Suburbs. Built 30 years ago, the Airport was designed for easy access in a single terminal domestic/international configuration.

The Airport has two runways capable of handling 90 000 flights per year. In 2008 approximately 160 000 passengers on both commercial and private planes passed through the Lanseria terminal. The airport offers the full range of services including 24-hour immigration and customs service, foreign exchange, car hire, parking, a duty-free shop and a domestic business lounge.
